| The Department of Spanish and Portuguese Studies at Queen’s University Belfast invites applications for a three-year PhD award funded by the AHRC under its Block Grant Partnership Scheme, and up to two PhD studentships funded by the NI Higher Education Department. The Department offers supervision in all areas of Hispanic Studies from the Renaissance to the present, with particular strengths in: early modern Spanish literature, eighteenth-century Spain, twentieth-century Spanish literary/cultural studies, gender studies, colonial Latin American studies, post-colonial Lusophone studies and the cross-fertilisation of literature and the visual arts. |
